2019 Ford Edge Performance Features Overview

Have you seen the latest Ford Edge? The base engine is now one of the strongest in the midsize SUV market, according to US News & World Report. The smaller engine is the turbocharged EcoBoost 2.0-liter four-cylinder. This is the standard engine for the Ford midsize SUV. It’s a powerful way to start up on your drive to and home from work. The base engine can put out 250 horsepower and has an eight-speed automatic transmission.

However, it’s the Edge ST that’s making everyone swoon. With a turbocharged V6, you can expect 335 horsepower from the small SUV and 380 pound-feet of torque. While you may call it small in comparison to full-size SUVs, there’s nothing little about the fuel efficiency. You’ll get up to 29 mpg on the highway with the four-cylinder engine, in fact. You can expect to get a lovely drive out of the Ford Edge.
